It is important to note here that one must maintain a proper diet together with exercising to lose weight. Whether you are a sprinter or someone who is looking for sprinter workouts, this article is for you because here I give you 3 best sprinter workouts plus a bonus one which are all fun sprinting exercises to do.

When you do your sprinting workouts, you stimulate a few hormones in your body, like growth hormone and testosterone that are in charge on burning fat and calorie. Ladies – do not be alarmed, both men and women have testosterone in their bodies and you do not run the risk of becoming manly muscly at all. This is a natural process inside your body. That is why you never see fat tigers!

3 Fun Sprinting Workouts Without Going to the Gym

These sprinter workouts are fun to do and very effective to burn fat and calorie.

  1. Wind sprints. A great sprinters workout that can be done at the park. Pick a very windy day and sprint against the wind. By doing that you activate a large range of muscles all at once, and greatly stimulate your metabolism while simultaneously increasing your fat burning and muscle building hormones. Sprints should be in distances of 50 or 100 yards, and anywhere between 6-20 sprints is good to get results. Do this exercise every second day.
  2. Hill Sprints. A killer sprinters workout.  Listen here – go find a hill and then sprint up that hill as fast as you can. Do not stop half way up, go all the way up, of course I do not expect you to sprint up a hill of 2 kilometers ’cause that is not a hill, it is the blimmen Himalaya but sprinting 100 meters uphill will work a huge range of muscles in your entire body and as a result will shave off excruciating amount of fat and calories. Repeat 3-4 times every second day. You will thank me for that. Same effect on the body as wind sprints.
  3. Staircase sprint. Every rugby field, hotel or motel,  apartment block, etc., has lots of stairs you can perform that sprint. You guessed right, start at the bottom of the stairs and sprint upstairs as fast as you can all the way to the top, it will strengthen your knees and thighs. Your recovery period is when you step down to the bottom floor. If you can sprint up 10 floors at least 3 times you are in good shape.If done with a high enough intensity, stairs workouts help to create changes throughout your entire body due to the muscle building and fat burning hormonal response and metabolism increase that you get through working the biggest muscle groups in your entire body.

Sprinting Workouts – Bonus Exercise

Playing any ball game is also a great fun way for sprinting exercises. Soccer, basketball, tennis, rugby, etc, are all good for that. I play basketball once a week and I get to have so much fun and sweat out a lot of fat and calorie.
